NVM Private Equity LLP is an ambitious firm of private equity investors. They have a flourishing portfolio of clients and work hands-on alongside business owners to inject finance and grow their companies and wanted a record of the Silverwing success. Silverwing NDT is one of only three specialist non-destructive testing firms specialising in oil and petro-chemical storage in the UK, and one of only 14 worldwide. When we visited with our cameras, they had broken into the US market and were expanding into more countries. They had secured NVM backing to accelerate the process.
With Silverwing we wanted to project their work and production authentically. At the same time, we had the opportunity to help their backers, NVM, reach new potential investee companies by showing their success with Silverwing. We wanted to show how elite Silverwing's processes were, and how they had benefited from NVM's backing.
Shot in Silverwing's Swansea factory, and in Reading, We interviewed the NVM directors and filmed the calm, cool and collected engineers at Silverwing. We created a two-and-a-half-minute film, tying the interviews together with footage of the products in action. It was a one-day shoot, a two-day edit and approximately one day of pre-production.
NVM is pleased with the short case study and they use it on their website and in client presentations. Meanwhile, Silverwing has rather nicely commissioned us to shoot a few promotional films for them. They're innovative thinkers and capable engineers at Silverwing - it was a privilege to film them at work.
